Our Story
Welcome to Friskytails!
Located on the outskirts of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Friskytails is a family that loves raising puppies to bring years of joy into peoples lives. With a creek and woods for the dogs to play, explore, and enjoy nature, the dogs and puppies flourish in the natural environment.
While everyone is involved, Darlene (mom) is pretty central in everything puppy related. When you give us a call, you will most likely talk to Darlene who will be able to answer your questions.
We want our puppies to be a blessing in your life and bring joy. Let's end puppy mills, be the change this world needs, and honor our Creator by treating our pets respectfully.

The best breeders we have ever encountered Please consider these kind-hearted people for your search! They are fair-priced and they were definitely worth the drive! Mr. and Mrs. Lengacher raise puppies in their country home that is far off the road. They have a large yard where they let their puppies play all day long. They raise puppies not only for a profit, but for the love of caring for very healthy dogs. They were also very flexible and even took a down payment for our little Cosmo and kept him and took care of him for 3 weeks til we had our home prepared for him. The only thing they asked of us, is to not do business or handle money on Sundays. But they did let us come and see and play with Cosmo to make sure he was the perfect decision for us on a Sunday. The Lengachers helped us make the best decision when it came to purchasing our Bichon, Cosmo. They are wonderful people who don't bite off more than they can chew. Please consider the Lengachers for your search! You will NOT be disappointed!
Great Seller! We bought our cavachon puppy, Joey from the Lengacher family and were very happy with their sevice throughout the entire process, from begining to end. They seemed to really love all the puppies and their dogs. It was nice to find a family who made us feel so confident in our buy. I had the pleasure to meet 3 members of the Lengacher household Mr. & Mrs. and thier daughter on October 3, 2009. They were all very nice, helpful, and friendly. I live in Joliet, Illinois. The ride out to Woodburg Indiana was 3 in a half hours out in the country and was worth it. I must say that we also met the mom and dad of our little female puppy. That we have named Corona Jimenez. Corona is a very healthy playful little puppy. The community is a very good habitat to raise puppies. It is very clean and very homey. I was very pleased with the environment. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a Bichon Frise puppy to check out the puppies that Scott Lengacher breeds. Thank you once again for the perfect bithday gift that I gave to my daughter. Our son played baseball in Iowa for the summer so he made a detour on his way back home (Alpharetta, GA... northern suburb of Atlanta) to Woodburn, Indiana to pick up the puppies, Gracie and Wrigley. Dealing with the Lengacher family was nothing short of perfect from the very beginning. They were prompt in their responses and it was obvious that they cared about the health and well being of the dogs. Darlene was waiting for my son when he got there and was very informative, helpful, and kind. Not only did she take the dogs to the vet that morning to make sure they were as up to date on their shots and as healthy as could be, but also she was a wonderful hostess, providing him with water and "HoHo Cake" for the road. (Which was delicious I might add) We are so thankful to have found the Lengachers and to have two beautiful, wonderful, fun loving puppies in our home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
